The non-profit Friends of the Poplar Bluff Public Library, Inc., plays an important role in ensuring the community support that is growing our public library into the future.

 

Founded in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) organization, the Friends raises funds, through membership dues and fundraisers, to support the Library’s mission with programs that increase public access to all the library offers. Children’s programming, books and DVDs, free computer access and training, seminars and lectures, and family-friendly entertainments are only part of what the Friends help provide.
